First professional experience of working in an architectural firm, as a trainee, comes from Mandala Design Services of Architects Neelkanth Chhaya, Kallol Joshi and Sohan Neelkanth, Ahmedabad, where I worked in 1995.
Later during my thesis and further I worked intermittently on various projects of R.J. Vasavada, Ahmedabad, from 1999 onwards, including the measured drawings of the Shri Jaggannath temple at Puri, Orissa, for the German Research Council.

At Mandala design services, I was responsible for introducing CAD and setting up the initial modalities – transitioning from manual drawings to CAD drawings with the Housing project of B.V. Doshi, “Udayan” at Calcutta.
The projects of Arch. R. J. Vasavada, on which I worked, largely comprised heritage and ancient structures; that consisted of measured drawing trips, hand drafted drawings, CAD representation of site proposals, reports and 3D representation of Institutional design projects.
Dangs
My first professional animation created from a layered 3D model using modular techniques and generating a near-fit shell surface (limited only due to software limitations)
Vrindavan
A memorial design for a saint, a religious organization in Vrindavan. Played with 3D views and subtle (minus intensity!) lights to attempt a more natural feel.
Aina Mahal/Halvad/Dhangadhra
CAD representation using data attributes of each space, for earthquake damage assessment observation reports. Independent data file using CAD “attributes” system was explored and used to generate legends and hold information.
The project consisted of low, middle and high income groups, with critical play of floor areas and structural plans to achieve efficient parking and provide the range of house types as per client’s requirements.
