This particular plot in the site enjoyed the vastness of the front open space and the Narmada canal beyond. The floor plan was a result of design constraints such as indirect entry, secluded living room and two bedrooms on the Ground floor, all conforming to vastu. The upper floor was designed keeping family behaviour in mind wherein a gathering space was created to open up, both in terms of volume within the house and a terrace connected to it, which opens to the front serving as an outdoor spill-out for social events.
