Mini Eye-Hospital at Indore, Dr.Tejesh Mehta (2002)
A very constrained design problem with a 3-buffers requirement for the operation room, tight dimensions and five different zones, resulted in using levels and mezzanine in a manner to bring differentiation of the zones yet retaining the overall “openness” of the mini-hospital. Openness was imperative to the design, having the space flanked by two parallel walls on the sides, leaving only the front and the back for natural light.
